What's up, my name is Nick Lachey. You might know me from the amazingly talented music group, 98 degrees or maybe my two solo albums. However, you might know me as Jessica Simpson's former husband. Yes, unfortunately I will admit to it, Jessica and I are getting a divorce. I honestly don't know where to start with all of the divorce and moving so I will come back to that later. Right now I am enjoying being an Uncle! Yes, my little brother Drew and his wife are now proud parents of a little baby girl. I am very proud of them and can't wait to babysit whenever they need it.
Well, my album has finally come out after many painstaking hours in the studio working on this one. This album is a collection of my emotions throughout these past few months. Although, I am still working through a lot of things day by day, I feel that everything must happen for a reason. I don't know why this happened or how long things will drag out for, but somehow I guess in the end everything will work out. I don't know why we have decided to go down this road, but it is a long road filled with nothing but sharp turns.
Before, the whole band, marriage, solo career, and divorce I had a pretty simple and normal life. I had the idea of being and entertainer and persuaded this dream by attending a well known public School for Creative and Performing Arts. It took awhile but I finally found the job of my dreams, 98 degrees. It was Drew, Justin, Jeff, and myself all together and making music. Those were honestly some of the best times in my life. Nothing was more exciting and thrilling than going out to perform for our fans. Honestly no celebrity would be anywhere without fans, they honestly deserve a lot of credit.
Then we all decided it was time for a break, Drew and I both got married. Then came my life with Jessica, it was something exciting and new for me. I knew that I loved her almost from the moment I met her. I remember some of the first times I went out with her, I would come back and talk to Drew about what I was feeling. He has always been there for me throughout everything I have been through and I have always tried to be a good big brother and always be there for him. Well everything with Jessica was fun. I enjoyed my marriage with her.
However, paradise doesn’t last forever. Now sadly we are going through a rough time and divorce. I have moved into my own house now and released my solo album. I have decided to place everything that I have left into my music. I think that my fans are enjoying this album as well. But, this album was made more for my benefit then theirs. Some mornings I question if I should get up at all. But, after a little while of thinking and talking to myself I get up and go about my day.
